About Slack chat WebApp
This "app" should allow you to use Slack on you Ubuntu Touch device as it is using an alternate UserAgent string and therefore showing up as a desktop PC.
Please note the Slack web app tends to be very laggy on mobile. Also, the basic web-app won't allow for UI scaling or any other modifications so I can't easily make this more usable on a phone.
** Sorry for polluting this space with a web app but the only other way is to use a web browser with desktop mode turned on and I don't want to do that each time I want to check any new messages on the go. You should only consider to use this "app" in emergency situations when you can't sit near your desk and yet expect your boss or co-workers to write you :).
Recent Changes
1.1 - Focal support + scaled down UI to make all the content of the new design fit 🤦
1.0 - Hack-ish support for downloading and uploading files.
0.7 - Trying to randomly switch in between Firefox and Chrome UAs as it always seems like Slack is ignoring UT after a while and this might actually help to overcome that issue. If you bump into browser not supported message try re-launching the web "app" a few times and that might hopefully do the trick. However so far nothing has been reliable.
0.6 - Updated UA to pretend to be Desktop Firefox. Seems to be the most reliable solution atm.
0.5 - Added David Ventura's tweaks to increase UI size to remove Slack sidebar in portrait and to open all links within the web "app" until user is actually logged in. Thank you! :)
0.4 - Updated User-Agent string to pass Slack web app test artificially preventing loading in older browsers
0.3 - Updated to work with Qt 5.12, thanks to https://gitlab.com/myii 👍
0.2 - Updated to WebEngineView https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qml-qtwebengine-webengineview.html for no reason, requiring a re-login though
0.1 - initial and possibly the only push as there is little to improve on a basic web app.

I opened be app today and found that Slack says the browser us no longer supported. This makes the app unusable.

It's standard port of the web interface. Works partially. You can't access your screenshots and share them. Possibly permissions need reworking. The web interface seems very laggy and keyboard keeps popping up. For all the rest, a big thank you for the author as we can at least have a quick link.
