About Min Browser

This is a click package for Min browser, recompiled from source with a few small patches. It allows to have a modern fully Free/Libre/Open-source browser based on Chromium 150, with good performances, and integrated ad blocker.

IMPORTANT: The application is intended to run on "24.04" stable. Absolutely no guaranty on other versions of UT, including focal, daily or bleeding edge.
IMPORTANT NOTE: to access the settings menu type "!settings" in the address bar.

It is only possible to copy and paste text natively from other XWayland apps, like Whatsnew or Sigul UT. To exchange clipboard with other apps, please use: https://open-store.io/app/xclip-swap.pparent

Remains to be done:
-Allow position & microphone
-The password manager does not work yet.
-Hopefully this app will be hardware accelerated some day!

Recent Changes

v1.35.7-2:
- Fix selects in settings: unlock settings that previously did not work. You may now chose your search-engine for example.
- Fix selects in web pages
- Improve default settings handling: make sure your settings don't get overwritten from now on
- Fix import file in setting pages, or welcome page

Tho it is confusing and difficult for me to navigate on my p3axl with UT 24.04 Stable, it does access sites that both Morph and Sapot don't, like Facebook and Yahoo. For that i am grateful and will continue using it.

Compared to Morph Min uses a substantially newer Chromium . Min's OpenStore package retains Ubuntu Touch application confinement (App Armor is respected). Min has a real, though limited, EasyList/EasyPrivacy-based network blocker. Security code review for Min, vs Morph vs Morph Qt6 beta, for now Min is the winner

Opening sites that other browsers are not. But the tab manager is rough to deal with. Sometimes closing tabs when I mean to select them.

seems to have a buggy keyboard, tried putting securitycode in ebay and the keyboardwas jumping and entering the numbers twice. Other than that nice app
