Litewrite is a distraction-free app designed for simple note taking and writing. It works offline and your browser will keep your data saved. If you like your notes to be saved permanently and available on all your devices, you can use the open remoteStorage standard, Dropbox or Google Drive. Just check out the widget in the top right to get started.

I love this app! It's really distraction-free and has a very pleasant look and feel, exactly what I've been looking for for years now. There's a few things that would make great new features in the versions to come: 1. Export feature: export your notes to .txt and choose a different location on your device. 2. Remove the “connect your storage” button from the writing space - why not move it to the sidebar? 3. Dark mode: ...because my eyes love it and I use it wherever I can!
