A native, qml Whatsapp Client for Ubuntu Touch, based on Whatsapp Web protocol

App runs unconfined to run a background service to send you notifications with the app closed

Features:
- Receive notifications with app closed via a background service
- Send and receive text, media and voice messages
- Tag, Reply, React, Delete and Edit messages
- Mute groups and people
- Archive conversations
- Start new conversations

Not a replacement for the main Whatsapp, as this is based on the Web protocol. Uses the same technology that allows Whatsapp Matrix Bridge to work, but on your device.

Works great and respects the user's choice to enable or disable the background daemon. It also explains why it needs to run unconfined (not all apps do). It's a must have for so many people and makes Ubuntu Touch usable for them. The only thing I'm missing are calls and video calls.

great..just what's i needed 😄very promising and very quick a few bugs but really usable..waiting for all features implemented 👍 cannot read some messages (unsuported message type errors 😪)
