About eMedia Player

A simple media player that is written in Perl/pEFL and primarily uses the decoders from libav/gstreamer. Originally developed as a test app for a Perl/pEFL application, it has proven so useful that I am happy to release it here. The app also offers basic support for the Content Hub.

Limitations:
- No Wayland support; the app runs on Xwayland with known limitations (no hardware acceleration - so don't expect 4K videos to run smoothly; in landscape mode, touch UI is only partially usable, see https://gitlab.com/ubports/development/core/lomiri/-/merge_requests/207 and ubports/development/core/lomiri#184)
- The app currently only runs on arm64 hardware at the moment
