Sync your Address Books with your Nextcloud (or any CardDAV) server

About Contact Bridge

A companion to automatically sync your contacts with your Nextcloud/CardDav server.

Features:
1. Set your credentials
2. Choose which address books to sync
3. Turn on automatic sync on settings (or sync manually in the app)
And they will appear in your Contacts app. Any changes there will be synced back to your server.

- Removes the Address Book from your device once removed from this App
- Integrates with your Nextcloud account in system settings

This app manages the Address books using syncevolution, and stores your contacts in the Evolution Backend, the same backend that the contacts app uses. To achieve this, it needs to run unconfined.

For safety, do a backup of your Address Books before using this app.

Nice app. But it diesn't detect nextCloud or CalDav accounts. Sync from phone to caldav is unreliable (?). App doesn't follow HIG completely. Let's see where it goes

In my case, it does not find the nextcloud account configured in the phone, and gives an error when trying to add the account in the app, on FP4directly

A good start! Downloads contacts from my NextCloud. What doesn't work is uploading new contacts from my phone though.

At first it threw some errors and refused to sync but after rebooting the phone, it worked. Using it to sync contacts hosted on a self hosted radicale server. Working well on noble.
